Magicbricks, found that when it comes to demand for property big cities the lion’s share of people looking to buy homes in 2019. At the same time,

64 million people have looked for homes in the past year This is equivalent to the population of France and is a 34% y-o-y growth in the number of home seekers
Three out of four Indians are on the lookout for 2 and 3 bhk homes
17% searched for properties in the Rs 1-2 crore range
50% has been the increase in the number of people looking for homes in emerging cities
21% of prospective homebuyers looked for properties in the Rs 20-40 lakh range
41% of prospective tenants were looking for homes between Rs 5,000-10,000 in Kolkata
