NOIDA: Claiming that they have been disappointed by the Union budget as it did not allocate a stress-fund to complete stranded residential projects in Noida, over 200 homebuyers under the umbrella body of Noida Extension Flat Owners Association (Nefowa) launched a social media protest #SayNoToNeta #SayYesToNota on Sunday.
The buyers claimed they have been misled by politicians in the past and despite considerable litigation, the government has failed to resolve the issue of projects like Amrapali which has over 25,000 buyers who have not been given their flats despite having paid up 70% to 90% of the cost.
The Nefowa gathering had a significant representation from buyers of Amrapali group.
