[INDIA REAL ESTATE NEWS] Good morning everyone I am Rumi Dhar from Kama Group.|
Here I have important INDIA real estate news to share with you which is as mention under.
Kushal Bhargava, Co-founder MyBranch said that co-working industry is going through a lot
of positive changes due to Covid-19 pandemic, Northeast India has seen increased demand
for co-working space and it is expected to witness 10% growth year on year for next 5 years.
Bhargava said the demand for space requirements is also changing. Earlier, companies were
okay with open sitting arrangements, now they are looking more for private space/cabins.
The demand for meeting rooms, cabin space has more than doubled. Co-working is expanding
mainly based on anchor customers and not future based demand. The focus has moved
completely to Enterprise customers, since they are sticky and look for long term agreements.
He added there has been a pent up demand for co-working in tier 2 & 3 cities due to reverse
migration. “Employees who have been given WFH option have moved back to their parental
house, however a lot of them don’t really have the space to work from home, so they are
looking for co-working space solutions with a basic infrastructure & internet facility. North
East of India is not being any different. Our Guwahati centre has been running close to
100% capacity throughout the lockdown.”
