NOIDA: A majority of homebuyers in the stalled Lotus brand projects — Panache and Boulevard — have voted for the removal of the two National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)-appointed insolvency professionals. The tribunal has appointed an interim administrator till new insolvency professionals are named, officials said.
TOI has learnt that a total of 2,185 homebuyers registered their vote through a mobile-based application. While 56% voted for the removal of interim resolution professional (IRP) Prabhjit Singh Soni and authorised representative (AR) Sunil Kumar Agarwal from the resolution proceedings, 43% voted in their favour. The remaining 1% abstained.
The voting results were submitted to NCLT on Wednesday in a sealed envelope by the investors. The insolvency court will take a final call on the removal of the two professionals from the crisis-hit 3C subsidiary Granite Gate real estate company’s Lotus brand projects next week, officials said.
